Heavenly Father, my hope and my refuge.
Guide me on the right path that I may never wander
away from You.

Help me remember always the reason why I came to UAE.
Strengthen me to bear the longing of being away from my loved ones.

Deliver me from the temptations that come my way.
Give me hope so that the vision of Your blessings for my family
is always before me.

Protect me from all dangers that I may come home safely, full of your
wonderful blessings and overflowing with gratitude for all that You
have done for me and my family. Amen.

Fr. Leny Supe Escalada, OFMCap
Hails from Gen. Santos City, in southernmost part of the island of Mindanao in the Philippines. He entered the Capuchin Order in Our Lady of Lourdes Seminary in Lipa City, Batangas in 1987, and made his perpetual profession as a Franciscan Capuchin in 1997. He studied Philosophy in Christ the King Seminary in Quezon City, and finished his theological studies at St. Francis Xavier Regional Major Seminary (ReMaSe) in Davao City in 2004. He received his presbyterial ordination in 2 April 2005. He was assigned in different ministries in the Philippines and abroad. He was appointed as Assistant Parish Priest here in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in August 2021.
